LUST FOR LISTS

For as long as I can remember I have been a list maker.  I have lists for everything: remodels, packing, moving, back to school, organization...the list goes on.  Here I am sharing the best of my lists and will continue to add new ones as I go.  Where applicable I have added links to products or supplies. Enjoy!

Best Gifts for the Grads in your Life

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9

Here are my picks for the best gifts to give graduates this year; they are useful and will be appreciated during their time at school. Product names to link directly to product pages.

Hands down favorite gift to give, amazing value for $17.

Changes colors to suit your mood using the remote. It even does a perfect "daylight" white color that brightens even the most poorly lit dorm room and makes studying a breeze.

This little gadget is one of those things you wish you had invented. So simple and so useful. Attaches easily to any dorm bed and you have an instant nightstand regardless if you are top or bottom bunk. Comes in a few colors. $29

There is a lot of stuff you have to haul around in the dorms. This bag keeps it all in one place and off the floor. See #8 for boys version. $58.

Depending on the climate and the age of your dorms, your child should plan to deal with their fair share of illness during the first year. This heppa filter fan will help trap germs and may save suffering. Buy the extra filter to change it out at Christmas. You will be shocked how much dirt it catches! $55 for the fan - extra filter $20.

This most likely appeals to girls. (Boys should bring the plug in air fresheners) Because it smells in the dorms and not always great. I like this one because it comes with the essential oils. $30

In the winter when dorms are heated the air gets really dry. You get chapped. This little guy helps keep the balance. $17

These are everywhere on college campuses now. Kids string them up between trees to study on a nice day, or they use it as extra seating under a bunked bed. $23

Because there you need to move between your room and the bathroom or keep your stuff together this is a good sturdy thing that will last. $40

Handy when you need extra seating in your room for friends to watch a movie, play video games or study. $24
